Want to Test Search Analytics API from Google Webmaster Tools?

If you are interested in testing out the new API for Search Analytics in Google Webmaster Tools, you are in luck.  Google is working on the API and John Mueller from Google is looking for those who are interested in testing it out.

We are also working on an API for the Search Analytics feature, so if any of you are interested in giving that a spin and signing an NDA with us and trying things out with us with the API, feel free to contact me as well.

John Mueller is requesting those interested in testing the API to contact him through Google+.

He will be placing people on a list, as he doesn’t know how soon it will be ready for testing,

I don’t know how soon it will be ready for testing, but I know they are feverishly working on it to make that more available.

And in case you missed it, you will be required to sign an NDA in order to participate.  But it will mean you will be able to try it out before everyone else and submit feedback, even if you don’t get to talk all about the test.

Google officially launched their Search Analytics earlier this month after several months of testing by webmasters, so they are definitely making a habit of allowing webmasters to check things out and test it before it goes live, which is pretty nice for webmasters and SEOs.

Those interested in testing out the Search Analytics API can contact John through his Google+ page.
