Some Datacenters Have Rolled Out Google’s Mobile Algo Update Completely

Everyone has been watching to Google mobile results with eagle eyes to see not just if the mobile changes have rolled out, but what the ranking differences are in the new mobile results.  And while we knew it would take about a week or so for the new mobile algo to completely roll out to users, some datacenters have already finished rolling out the update completely.

In today’s Google Hangout, John Mueller confirmed that it is still rolling out to some datacenters, it has completed in others already.

It is definitely rolling out.  I know some of the datacenters it has rolled out completely.  So that’s something where you’ll probably see this change over the course of a week or maybe a week and a half, something like that.  From the first day to the next day, I don’t think you’d see a big change but if you compare last week to next week, you should see a change there.

I have seen some blog posts out there that have tried to document the difference between the desktop results and the new mobile results.  So there are definitely people who are noticing it as well.

So I am sure everyone will try and figure out if they can get the datacenters that have really completely rolled out so they can get accurate analysis, since we are still a few days out from being able to see it across all datacenters completely.
