Ever wondered who attended a specific university that was noteworthy in some way? Google is now showing a section for “Notable alumni” in the Google search results, which clicks through to an additional carousel.
As you can see from the Stanford example, they are including not only famous business people, but actors/actresses, athletes and musicians.
Here is how it appears when you “view more.”
Then clicking on a person in the carousel will leave the carousel at the top but show the knowledge panel for the individual person.
Then, in the knowledge panel you can click the “More” link next to Education, and it brings up a new carousel with all the schools the individual attended, which then link back to show the school’s knowledge panel.
