Google’s Panda Algo Still Rolling Out Slowly

Google has been extremely quiet about Google Panda ever since they released information and quotes to TheSEMPost in the Google Panda algo guide.  Google last said that Panda was doing a slow rolling update, which means SEOs would no longer be able to see a definitive date for when rankings either dropped or increased thanks to Panda.

But some had questioned what Panda was up to, if it was still doing its slow slow rolling updates that Google began using for Panda last year.  At Big Digital Adelaide, I asked Gary Illyes about Panda, and whether it was still doing its slow continuous update rollout.  Illyes confirmed it was.

There has not been much chatter about Panda since the last “known” launch, but this is likely due to the fact it is harder to pinpoint Panda issues with the lack of dates. But it is still very much a part of Google’s search algo, even if it isn’t as readily identifiable as being a specific Panda issue.  Create quality content, and if it isn’t quality, then work to improve it.
