In a marketers dream come true, Google Trends has been updated to put greater emphasis on real time search trends. This means marketers can track trends – and jump on them – much faster than before.
The change means access to more than 100 billion monthly searches that can be explored in real-time.
You can narrow down searches to the past hour, past 4 hours, past day, past 7 days, as well as by custom date range or even just by year.
It marks the largest expansion to Google Trends since 2012. It includes a newly redesigned homepage that is now available in 28 countries.
They also released a video showing how different websites are utilizing Google Trneds in their marketing and reporting.
