Google Returns Sitelinks to the Search Results

Earlier this month, Google removed sitelinks from individual search results, meaning sites lost the row of sitelinks at the bottom of their listing.  While this didn’t affect branded site’s sitelinks, a huge number of sites lost them for more generic queries.

Gary Illyes commented at the time, asking if they had returned yet, which made it seem as though it was a bug rather than an intentional change.

Many site owners will be happy to see these sitelinks returned.  This is the second bug from the search results fixed this week, as Google also fixed the issue with it pulling publish dates from embedded YouTube videos.
