Google Reconsideration Tips: Remove Inorganic Backlinks

Another day and another Google Webmaster Help Reconsideration Request Tip in their series of tips this week.  Day # 3 brings us “remove inorganic backlinks”.

Day 3 of #GoogleRecon — For a reconsideration request to be successful, a significant percentage of inorganic links should be removed from the website. If you can get a backlink removed, remove the link instead of adding it to the disavow file. Simply disavowing links will not be enough to make a reconsideration request successful.
