Google has lifted the previous demotions from all versions of Penguin in the search results. So if you are waiting to see rankings improve from any of the previous iterations of Penguin, those have now gone out in the search results for all impacted sites.
In the early morning Pubcon breakfast session with Gary Illyes from Google with Eric Enge, the question came up about whether Google has finished rolling out the recoveries to those sites previously impacted from Google.
@jenstar yes, eh

But there was some confusion with Illyes answer, as Enge also mentioned that it was “Penguin 3.0” that had seen recoveries.
Many people questioned this exchange about whether it meant all previous versions of Penguin or just the Penguin 3.0. I reached out to Illyes on Twitter:

So if your site had been previously impacted by Penguin, you should have seen recoveries by this titme, and if not, either Penguin wasn’t the issue or the site didn’t earn enough links to compensate for the loss of the bad ones.

So if my site has not seen a recovery so far, I am not going to recover at all, since the full Penguin recovery is released? I saw some slight positive movement on some keywords, but nothing drastic. The links have been cleaned/disavow and new high authority links been added.No recovery so far!! I am screwed!

Hello,
My website has soared in traffic but our conversions have halved. Have adwords seen any effects from Penguin at all? Trying to work it all out… seems like the blind leading the blind with all the content I am reading on it.
Appreciate any light!

AdWords ads are not impacted by Google’s regular search algo. Google’s search algos only impact organic (non-paid) listings.
