If you are a Super Mario fan, you will love the latest Easter eggs added by Google to their search results, in honor of Super Mario Bros 30th anniversary.
In Google, when you do a search for “Super Mario Bros“, the knowledge panel includes a ? box that all Super Mario fans will recognize.
But when you click on the box, it begins spitting out coins and points, just like the original Super Mario Bros. And if you have your sound turned on, it even makes the identical sound from the video game.
Here is it in action:
The Easter egg is in celebration of Super Mario Bros 30th anniversary, which took place on Sunday.
It isn’t the first time that Google has honored video games with Easter eggs or Google Doodle. This includes the fully playable version of Pac-Man, for its 30th anniversary, along with other Easter Eggs like “Do a Barrel Roll” and “Zerg rush”.
Hopefully this one of the Easter eggs that will be sticking around, it is quite amusing to be able to click it and hear the sound.
