To export your links, you need to go to your linking reports within the new Google Search Console (not the linking report in the old version). Under status on the left-hand side menu, select links.
On the top right-hand corner there is an option to export. There are actually two versions here are the can export, either the “more sample links” or “latest links.”
You can download the data either in CSV format or in Google sheets format, which will automatically open a Google sheets spreadsheet with the linked data.
Don’t forget that because the new version and the old version of the link reports contain different data that it might be worth still downloading the old version and combining the two. But as Google has stated, this new report is considered to be more accurate but with that accuracy it means that the number of links may drop, although they have not given a specific reason other than it is because it is a “more accurate and secure way of reporting them.”
Data in this report is more accurate than the old Links to your site report. As a result, the values in the new report may be lower, but this does not indicate a drop in links, but rather a more accurate and secure way of reporting them.
John Mueller also talked about it in the last Google Webmaster Office Hours, but he wasn’t able to say how the reporting changed.
The new linking report is rolling out to all users, so if you do not have access to it yet, you should have it shortly.
